Appointment Guidance

I am very pleased to be able to welcome you back to The Rosebine Clinic from April 2021.

We all have a lot of experience in keeping ourselves and others safe now and I'm very grateful for the consideration that the Rosebine Clinic clients have shown throughout the pandemic. Please take a moment to read this refreshed Appointment Guidance, updated for the clinic re-opening in April 2021.

Before you attend your appointment
  • If you are attending your first appointment or you haven’t been to The Rosebine Clinic for some time, you will need to book a ½ hour online or phone consultation prior to your appointment. This gives us a relaxed opportunity to talk. We will discuss your medical history, your goals and agree a treatment plan. You will have plenty of time to ask any questions. To keep us all safe you will be screened for Covid-19 risk.
  • Prior to a follow-up appointment I will contact you to have an update and to complete the Covid-19 screening.

Please …
  • stay at home and look after yourself if you feel unwell, even if you don’t have any of the three-best known Covid symptoms. There will be no fee for late cancellation on the grounds of ill health. Just best wishes and appreciation
  • don’t book or attend an appointment within 48 hours of a vaccination. Your immune system will be responding to the vaccine and it is not appropriate to challenge it further with hands-on treatment. It’s OK to make a last-minute change if you have a short-notice vaccine appointment
  • allow time for us to talk by phone or video call prior to your appointment so dialogue is kept to a minimum in the treatment room
  • respond promptly to the necessary Covid-19 symptom screening that will be sent (usually via text) within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment
  • avoid going to work or to the shops before coming to the treatment room
  • wait in your car or relax outside prior to your appointment
  • be my guest and allow me to open and close the doors for you!
  • make generous use of the liquid hand sanitiser by the front door and put on the face mask supplied (this is a type IIR fluid repellent mask that offers greater protection than the home-made cloth masks)
  • leave your shoes outside the room – either on the doormat outside or in the hallway
  • make use of the clean plastic box in the treatment room for all of your belongings. If you can come with the bare minimum it makes it easier for you
  • be prepared to re-sanitise your hands after you have changed, if you sneeze or need to use a tissue
  • make your payment using online banking or the credit card reader

Toilet facilities are available if required but if it is possible to pay a visit before you arrive, that is appreciated.

After your treatment, please avoid shaking the covers or your clothes. The treatment space and any other areas that have been visited will have ventilation increased and be cleaned thoroughly after every appointment.

PPE
I will be wearing PPE in line with current government guidance:
  • Visor
  • IIR fluid repellant mask
  • Washable apron, changed between each client
  • Gloves, on request
In line with government guidance, the windows will be open during your appointment to ventilate the room.

Payments and rebooking appointments
  • All payments will be electronic - via BACS, debit or credit card
  • Follow-up appointments can be booked online. You can tell me if you’d like a reminder to do this
If you have any questions, suggestions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
