Myofascial Release Therapy
in High Wycombe
Relieve Pain & Restore Movement
Perceptive, mindful treatment to ease pain, restore natural movement & body awareness
Picture
At The Rosebine Clinic, Myofascial Release is a gentle, hands-on approach that helps your body move more freely, feel more comfortable, and reconnect with its natural ease and resilience.

Your body has an innate capacity for change. We recognise that pain, tension, and restricted movement emerge from the ongoing interaction between your body, nervous system, and daily life. Through skilled touch, guided movement, and heightened body awareness, Myofascial Release provides your nervous system with new information about what is safe, possible, and available to you.

During your session, gentle fascial techniques and small, exploratory movements help to:
  • Reduce pain and feelings of stiffness
  • Improve comfort, mobility, and movement confidence
  • Calm an overprotective nervous system
  • Increase body awareness and movement efficiency
  • Support relaxation, resilience, and overall wellbeing
At The Rosebine Clinic, Myofascial Release is not about forcing change into the body. It is about creating the conditions for change through touch, movement, awareness, and collaboration—helping your whole system discover new possibilities for comfort, balance, and wellbeing.

Scar Therapy, sometimes called ScarWork (TM) or scar massage, is a gentle, non-invasive treatment designed to help soften and improve scar tissue, reduce adhesions, and restore comfortable movement.

It works directly on your scar and the underlying tissue to stimulate healing, improve flexibility, soften scar tissue and reduce sensitivity.

This can be especially helpful for issues following surgery or radiotherapy, such as:
  • Ongoing pain or tenderness
  • Tightness or restricted movement
  • Pulling or puckering of the skin
  • Fibrous scar tissue or scar adhesions

Scar Therapy is suitable for all types of scars, including those from oncology treatments such as mastectomy, planned surgeries, or injuries. Treatment can help whether your scar is recent or many years old.

You’ll also receive tailored home care advice about scar creams, oils and silicone gel sheeting, to support early scar healing and ongoing self-care, helping you get the best long-term results.
Restorative Massage Therapy
in High Wycombe
Relieve Tension & Muscular Pain
Therapeutic massage to release tension,
reduce pain and restore movement

Restorative Massage blends the art of skilful bodywork with the science of anatomy and movement. Each session is tailored to your needs — whether you’re looking for calm, flowing relaxation or focused precision to address specific areas of tension.

Trigger points are localised, sensitive spots in muscles that can cause pain, stiffness, and limited movement. They often cause pain in other parts of the body — a process called referred pain. This means the area where you feel discomfort isn’t always the true source of the problem.

Using a combination of restorative massage and targeted trigger point therapy, treatment can:
  • Release muscle tension and ease discomfort
  • Improve flexibility and range of motion
  • Reduce referred pain patterns
  • Support recovery from injury or overuse
  • Promote relaxation and overall wellbeing

Restorative Massage and Trigger Point Therapy work together as an effective approach to managing musculoskeletal issues, from everyday muscle tightness to long-standing pain.
