What can I expect during my appointment?
Please take a look at the Appointment Guidance page for more information
what should I wear?
Generally speaking, you will undress down to your underwear for your treatment. You will be covered by a towel for your modesty.
If you are coming specifically for Advanced Myofascial Techniques I recommend wearing loose shorts over your underwear and, for the ladies, a soft crop top/sports bra. If it's possible to avoid wearing a strong sports bra or wired bra it's less restrictive around your ribs and makes it easier to work around. Gents, please avoid loose boxer shorts.

I am pregnant, can I come for treatment?
I am experienced in working with pregnant ladies from their first trimester through to 40 weeks. During this time of Covid-19, please call me so that we can discuss your current health and requirements to make sure that you are kept safe before you book an appointment.
I have a cold, sickness, diarrhoea or other contagious illness. Should I cancel?
Yes, please do cancel if you are unwell with a contagious illness. This is better for you because treatment will probably make you feel worse and it is important not to spread the illness.
Do you offer Sports Massage?
The answer to this is yes, I am qualified in Sports Massage. But my question back would be ‘what are you looking for?’ If you are looking for a heavy ‘no pain – no gain’ style of treatment, then this clinic may not be for you. I will take an informed approach to your treatment, using techniques that are appropriate – it may be deep, focussed and precise, it may be powerful and flowing. If in doubt, give me a ring and we can discuss it.
Can I use my private medical insurance?
I am not registered with any private medical insurance companies. However, I am CNHC registered which may mean that you can claim from a Private Health Cash Plan.
Private Health Cash Plans work by processing claims for reimbursement for healthcare costs not funded by the NHS or private medical insurance policies. Each company that offers Private Health Cash Plans have different levels of coverage, which reimburse for costs of varying therapies to set annual limits.

where should I park?
You can park on the driveway or on the road-side in front of the hedge. If you park on the road, please don't block the pavement for pedestrians.
I have, or have had cancer - can I book a treatment with you?
There is a great deal of excellent work being done with massage and cancer. I have undertaken training to equip me to work with people who have cancer. If you would like to come for treatment, please check with your GP or Consultant to establish the suitability of massage for your needs prior to booking your appointment. We would discuss your situation in an online consultation prior to you coming in for treatment.
DO I NEED TO WEAR A FACE COVERING?
Yes, in line with government guidance you are required to wear a face covering before you arrive and to not remove it until you leave. Please speak to me before your appointment if this is a problem for you. I will be wearing a type IIR mask and a visor.
